On Saturday, September 5th, we are hosting the 3rd Annual First Responder RibFest at Chamber Park in Mountain City. This event is a celebration of that resilience—a way to bring our community together to honor every firefighter, law enforcement officer, and EMS professional who stands on the front lines for us.
The RibFest is scheduled to be one of the biggest events in Johnson County history, featuring:
- Award-winning BBQ and the Battle of the Badges cookoff.
- Live Music featuring three bands throughout the day.
- Hometown Heroes 5K Run/Walk to kick off the morning.
- Family Fun: Over 200 vendors, a Queen of the “Q” Beauty Pageant, a classic car show, a mechanical bull, and more.
- Community Support: A 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and door prizes.
