ELIZABETHTON, TN — Covered Bridge Days 2026 is almost here! This year’s festival, hosted by the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department, will take place September 25-27 and will feature FREE live music, kids’ activities, local craft vendors, food trucks, and plenty of fun for everyone. Saturday night will feature our iconic fireworks finale at around 9:45 pm. The festival will take place starting at 11:00 am on Friday, 10:00 am on Saturday, and 1:00 pm on Sunday. Bring the whole family for a full weekend of free, fun entertainment!

Kid’s Island, located in and around Edwards Island Park, will feature a mixture of paid attractions along with many FREE activities, including inflatables, magic shows, character meet-and-greets, foam parties, and more!
Returning for 2026 and now in its 7th year, the Youth Business Fair, sponsored by Carter County Bank, will be taking place on the Elk Avenue bridge on Sunday, September 27th from 1-4, with over 50 youth entrepreneurs between the ages of 7 and 18 presenting their business ideas and selling their wares to the public. Please bring cash to shop these great youth-owned and operated businesses, as many are not equipped for credit cards. A short award ceremony will take place on the main stage at 4:00 pm to honor these young entrepreneurs’ creativity!
