I studied music and communications at East Tennessee State University & music performance at The Steve Hurst School of Music in Nashville. I sang professionally for twelve years with The Wilburns and The Perrys, two well-known family ministries.

I left the road to join the Valley Forge Church Staff in Elizabethton in August 2006 as Church Worship Leader/Choir Director/Administrator. Then, I joined the Kingdom Heirs of Dollywood, where I sang from September 2016 to September 2023. I am currently with Appalachian Radio Group and 107.9 The Bridge (WBEJ) in Elizabethton. I still sing as a soloist on most weekends.

My wife Cindy and I have been married for 28 years and have two children, my son Cameron and daughter Kenidy, along with two grandsons Asher and Axel, and we reside in Elizabethton. My parents are the Rev. Donnie and Sandra Harris of Elizabethton. We attend and are members of the Valley Forge FWB Church.
