The Friends of the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter (FECCAS) will host their annual “Happy Tails 5K Run/1K Walk” fundraising event on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Lions Field, located at 2459 W Elk Ave, Elizabethton, TN.
This family-friendly event aims to raise funds for the proposed low-cost spay/neuter clinic being built next to the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to join, with options for both a 5K run and a 1K walk.
“Our annual Happy Tails event is not only a vital fundraiser for our proposed clinic but also a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in support of homeless animals,” said Danny Deal of the Friends of Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter. “Every dollar raised directly benefits the future of animals in our community.”

Complimentary goody bags for all registered participants
